The IRS has been more than generous in recent times, sending $600 checks to individuals in 2008, thanks to the Bush Administration’s $178 billion stimulus package, and giving back an average of $13 per person per paycheck, thanks to the Obama Administration’s generosity as part of the $787 billion stimulus package.
